Blogging Sabbatical

I will be taking a blogging break for much of this week to travel, visit people, write cover letters, and other such irrelevant "offline conversations."

In other news, today (Monday) is the last day to vote for which Springfield should host the Simpson's movie premier. It's a silly contest, but of course everyone already knows that Springfield, Oregon, is where Portland resident Matt Groening got his inspiration from. So be a dear and go vote for us here. If you don't, the angels shall weep for you.

I went to vote...even though you said it ended yesterday and today is today (Tuesday). I didn't even know there was a Springfield, MI!

Sorry your state lost to Vermont...They should be disqualififed on grounds of Anti-patriotism...part of the state wanted a separate entity from the rest of the state, and U.S. a while back! And the Simpsons represent...um, America!

I love the random blog posts. Joel and I are here in HI, have you ever been to Maui, and where were you when you were here and working? Sad to see Springfield, MO or IL didn't win the contest either. Ever found any more information on why exactly they always carve bears? Maybe some research is in order. Good luck with the job resumes!

Howdy tiz... I was working in Volcano, the Big Island. Did visit Maui, though. If you see a canvas hat near Charles Lindbergh's grave, pick it up for me, will ya?

I still don't understand the bears, but today I met some tourists from CA who were shopping for one, so I guess it's all about the money. Flippin' bears...
